I started programming on a TI-99/4A. I still remember my joy upon finally getting the Extended BASIC cartridge. My first deployed application, written in Pascal, was a seating chart management tool for my high school lunchroom. I had an enormously good time in college re-implementing Hunt the Wumpus in MC68000 Assembly.

I met Rails and fell in love with Ruby in the mid-aughts. I’ve been working primarily in Ruby and Javascript since 2006. Other keywords that describe my current work are Prototype, jQuery, SQL, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Scrum, XP, and Agile. If you’re a search bot or a recruiter, you may enjoy a more exhaustive list of keywords.

You can find me online at github, stack overflow, meetup, and working with rails.
